Tulips Still

We got a half day of sun today with no rain yet although it is threatening. It made a huge difference for the tulips. I have 'Davenport', 'Flaming Parrot', 'Black Parrot' and 'Deirdre' budding. The 'Gavota' opened for awhile but were shut again by the time I recharged the camera. These are the 'Salmon Impression' today and I am linking more tulips on Sleepy Hollow.

  1. These really turned out nice.... so soft... would look great in my backyard.

  2. ...and now that the Lipgloss are getting so bright pink, they really need the white between them but that comes from the City of Vancouver all white tulips and they are much taller and just budding now. Hmmmmmm. A dilemna. I'll have to solve that by the time I move the tulips in the fall or wait another year to see if they bloom together ... both in time and in height... once they are established. Gee... wonder which of those options I'll pick ;)

  3. I vote for waiting... that is an accepted problem solving technique - I use it all the time.
