Fooled Me!

At first glance this morning, I thought I had a new tulip trying to bud.  Look closer... it's a clematis bud.  Every time I walked by it I laughed so this had to be my picture for today.

    Fooled me too ! My clematis 'Blue Boy' came back for the third year but there are no buds yet. What color is this when it opens?
