Delphinium have started opening today along with the red Dianthus. The Oriental Poppy is in full bud as well. Rained in the night but nothing yet today. I got all the Calla in as odd as that sounds on the 26th of June !
Ah ha! So assuming they would start to bloom about the same time here, they will overlap with your orange lilies and the white mock orange flowers which is just starting the bloom. Perfect! Your orange poppy buds look a bit different than mine so I'm curious to see them in bloom. My big poppies are all done now but the little orange ones are blooming like crazy. I seem to be having a problem taking pictures with my new camera that are in between close-ups and scenes. Patches of upright flowers seem to be the hardest - it's like the camera doesn't know what to focus on. Guess I'm going to have to resort to downloading the manual. LOL
When I look out this morning, about 6 of those poppy buds are open so I will get a shot of them today. I have my camera back and I can use all my lenses on the digital SLR but I lose the auto focus in the process. I haven't yet used the digital lens with auto focus that came with it. I switched it as soon as I got home for my favorite lens and then promptly misplaced the charger. Feels like I got a whole new camera ;)
