After telling you I didn't have any other lilies blooming, I went outside and found this. This is the very first lily I ever bought and was supposed to be white. It's some kind of dwarf asiatic, and only a foot or so tall, so it's easy to miss. I have 2 patches of these now and one is hiding behind your orange lilies. The first of the
Stella de Oro daylilies started to bloom today too. Nice to see some yellow!
The Stella D'Oro is the Daylily that made me dislike Daylily. LOL ! Still not fond of them although I have seen a lot of them now that have much nicer blooms. No lily open here yet, day or otherwise.

ReplyDeleteI wasn't fond of the Stella de Oro's either... until my patches got really big and I discovered they'll bloom all summer if you deadhead them. They will be covered in blooms when you get here.
