This came from Mom's and I have it growing in a few spots. This is by the front steps. Each of these little blue flowers close up at dusk and is white on the underside. Some kind of veronica but not exactly like anything I've come across in the garden centres.
That's a really good size patch. I had thought veronica was annual here but the green fence garden in town is growing a perennial variety. I should check the greenhouses after I get everything else in. Or maybe... next year :)
ReplyDeleteThere's a lot of different veronica. I have some tall varieties that won't bloom till July or August. This particular one grows just about anywhere including in a patch in the middle of the backyard!
