This is Cuddles and he belongs next door. He is usually on a leash but gets loose a lot. He is far from cuddly. Here he was growling at me - in my own garden. The nerve!
Well, your water hose sprayer would discourage him quickly if you are consistent when he comes in your yard. That is how we got the cats not to hunt in the bird sanctuary. It took awhile where it seemed like we were always running for the sprayer but it worked. At one point, we had a sprayer sitting in the kitchen window just so we didn't have to run so far to make the point when we were on coffee breaks. His is a real cutie though. How scary is the growl? Maybe he isn't serious. LOL !
Damn why didn't I think of the sprayer at the time?! He was pretty serious and took a leap at me at one point. I've been scratched by him before. Funny thing is... it happened twice yesterday. Carrie's cat Cheetah was also down here in the yard earlier. He's a tricky one but usually let's me pet him a little before he hisses and struts off. Yesterday he also took a leap at me. The thing is, I have no problem sharing my garden with cats - long as they are a just little nice to me. Maybe I was sending off bad vibes yesterday. LOL
Good grief ! Your garden is where you are supposed to go to release all those bad vibes. Kind of hard if all the neighbourhood cats are attacking you !! The cats probably think your garden is theirs and you are the intruder. I'd keep the sprayer handy. LOL !
