We'll let you know when the sacrifices start ;)

  1. Oh my gosh! When is it going to end? He is going to break his back moving those rocks. They are huge !!

  2. He has already moved every single one of those huge rocks. One of them took more than a whole day by itself. I'm reminded of that fable of the man continually pushing a boulder up a hill only to have it roll down the other side.

  3. Well, as long as it doesn't roll down the other side to land on top of the man ! Tell him I said take it easy. I have known him long enough to understand his propensity for powering through stuff. On the other hand, that 20 years to retirement might shorten if he ends up on disability with back injury. Of course, the retirement part won't be much fun with a broken back.... just longer.

  4. You've also known him long enough to know that what you or I have to say about it isn't going to matter... although he might humour us until we stop looking. LOL

  5. Yeah, you are right. He would just start getting up earlier and getting it all done while you were sleeping. LOL !

  6. ... and there is the fact that it is going to look awesome when he is done. What are you going to plant there?

  7. Definitely lots of scotch moss. Wondering if we can grow some indoors all winter to multiply our stock faster. Lots of crawly rock garden stuff I guess mostly. It's supposed to be no-cost so we'll see what happens when we start moving stuff around in the fall. Kelly is going to clear the slope coming down from the back of the garage so I can throw wildflower seeds there next spring.
