This is without a doubt my new favourite hosta - great colours and shape... and it grows fast. Hard to get a picture that doesn't have spinners from the maple trees - they've been coming down all week.

Before hostas

Looks pretty barren with no hostas. It'll look much better in the summer.

Blue and Green

Blue and green in the Bird Sanctuary today. The 'Halcyon' didn't miss a beat ! The Heliopsis, on the other hand, looks like a stick but I am watering the heck out of it, sending green thoughts all the while.

Shade Bridge Garden

Forget-me-nots are blooming in the shade bridge garden. They are just like the Creeping Jenny this year, growing right across the pathway by the raspberry. The space between and behind the Hosta should be 2 of my red Columbine but no sign yet. The green carpet over the mulch is mostly Forget-me-not seedlings. I really needed to do something about that last year. Oh well, the garden and I are both still here so I guess I haven't run out of time :)

Tulip 'Lipgloss'

The Tulips are starting to bloom in the bird sanctuary. These 'Lipgloss' are the first. Behind them is the Hosta 'Sun Power'. I need to get to the dandelions in the nursery on the other side of the fence.

Glowing hosta

This started as a small sprig from Mom's and now there's 3 this size.  Here the evening sun is making it glow in the woods.  I don't know the name.
