I'm beginning to realize that the bigger the flower, the longer the bud takes to open. I haven't measured this yet but it must be at least 3 inches. Nice bright white with faint yellow around the centre. Had to climb in among the glads to get this because it's facing the road. Now I have my own collarette ;)
oh, and isn't she pretty! But you had 'Longwood Dainty' too and isn't that a collarette? This would look great next to 'Hot Lips' because I think she would bring out the white in the collar on that one.
ReplyDeleteFunny how I remembered it as pale orange with a dark orange collar. Your email sent me looking again. I know how I made the mistake but duh!! I still love the 'Longwood Dainty' though. Finding I am more than partial to the oranges.
