Gavota

The patch I thought was Davenport turned out to be Gavota. I haven't found anywhere near all the tulips and there are two blooming that I need to look up because I can't identify them off the top of my head. But I am super happy to see these!

Salmon Impression

These were moved from the bird sanctuary to the back firepit garden last year but the haven't seemed to miss a beat.

Puchella Eastern Star

Planted in 2010, this is the first time I have seen a bloom. All the mini botanical tulips are open here now.

Friday's Moment

I swear I am going to get better at this timing thing again! This was the first bloom of the season that I totally missed. It was a single crocus about a mile from the house, in the furthest garden bed. By the time I saw it, it was this little dried up thing that a dog has clearly stepped on!

More blooms...

The tarda are opening and if you were to judge my reliability by this blog, I would come out looking bad.... so don't! lol!

This is yesterday's image that I forgot to post before I fell asleep!

Second Bloom of the Season

Tulip 'Chopin', blooming today. I missed the lone Crocus bloom about a mile from the house. Going to post a dried up picture of it on sleepy hollow.

Ready to pop

They are waiting for sun just like me!

Tulips and Dandelions

The Zurel are the first tulips coming up along the drive in the sun gardens. The garden is starting to fill up with tulips and dandelion. They are both everywhere! I really need to get outside and deal with the dandelion.

Tarda Tulip!

The red gives them away for sure... the tarda are coming up. Looks like we are not two weeks behind the city this year. Very cool.
