Purple carpet

The aubrieta in Kelly's garden is always the first to colour up. We've had overcast skies for a few days now - sun tomorrow will open a bunch of blooms.

I've got purple aubrieta blooming in all my gardens.  This little bird in the middle was my mother's day gift to myself.
