Esther brought us these beautiful rocks (along with a big clump of kniphofia aka torch lilies).

Centrepiece
Our Brigg's Moonlight daphne is getting big enough to be quite stunning now as a centrepiece for my rock garden. We're still waiting to see blooms - next year :)

Little yellow
These lilies are in the front rock garden and the stalks are only 4-5 inches tall. They're cute little things :)

This is so bright you can spot it soon as you come around the corner. The rock garden is starting to colour up nicely! (yesterday's moment)

Golden touch
I'd have to look up the name but this sedum was a late addition to the rock garden last fall. It seems to like it there!

Getting Ready to Bloom Next Year
My yucca looks wonderful at this time of year. And you wouldn't know it's growing in a pot buried in the garden! This is the time of year that I start appreciating my rock garden again.

Odd Sedum
This is called athoum sedum and I got it late last season... another thing overlooked when you were here. It's been spreading and caught my attention today in the front rock garden. I just might have to start some other patches of it.

Cupid's Dart
I just love these flowers but they are on tall stalks so really hard to get them to hold still for a picture.
Your red dianthus is liking it here!

Little White Butterflies
I think this is what you were describing to me a few weeks ago. Only a tiny patch - planted late last summer.

Frostie the Hemlock
This is a corner of my front rock garden that you don't often see. In the front centre is Frostie, a miniature hemlock, that has been there 3 years. And, yes, it's not even a foot tall! This is, however, the right colour and it has more new growth this year. It's only supposed to grow a couple of inches a year so I won't have to worry about space for a while :)
