Skewer

Needs better lighting but I left it late and daylight was almost gone. Have the string and a close up of the skewer that I am going to put on flickr.

Paper Bead Testing

These are the tests. The little tan set are the standard magazine page size. The oranges are using Rolling Stone lengthwise with the staples taken out and the greens/purples are variations on using double strips with different cuts. Only the little tan set are finished with semi-gloss, the rest are all high gloss.

Paper Beads

The last of the beads from today are drying. We got a little carried away and spent the whole afternoon making them but we had a great time! This batch is our test of the satin finish. All the other batches had high gloss finish. The finish is the time consuming part.
